Lead PMO (Governance and Process)

Job Description & Requirements

Working for a fortune 500 company with regional IT team in Singapore, you will lead PMO team to support Head of PMO and Portfolio Manager to mange the day to day aspects of PMO activities for their digital technology team.

Responsibilities

  • Your key accountabilities include leadership, advise, change management, project management, risk management, financial management and people management; all of which is further detailed below:
  • Effectively lead and organise the PMO activities to deliver against the project plan, schedule and budget
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and coordination of project outcomes
  • Contribute to and adopt best practice project management methodologies, including change management practices to ensure adoption of deliverables by the business
  • Tracking and monitor project deliverables, timelines, resource allocation and cost
  • Ensure business needs are clearly identified and documented at project initiation Working with various PMs to manage the demand , project risk, issues, dependency management, priortisation Manging departmental budget, scope, schedules and preparing departmental reports to HOD
  • Provide project governance support to various project teams Preparing, improving PM processes and standards Ensuring processes , standards are adopted and changes are communicated Monitor quality and quantum of work, productivity and value delivery on an ongoing basis, and provide regular feedback to team members

Requirements

  • Min 15 years of experience working with large complex projects (applicaiton)
  • Relevant combination of qualifications and work experience applying best-practice project and change management methodologies to bring about organisational improvement.
  • Capable of assuming ownership for Portfolio Governance and Reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to influence change, lead and motivate staff and stakeholders. Including an ability to form effective working relationships with organisation Executive, clinicians, and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, make and enact decisions for the benefit of relevant projects/programs, and to be self-motivated to ensure the timely delivery of the project's/program's outcomes.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills along with a demonstrated ability to pro-actively manage risks, use initiative, and facilitate positive outcomes.
  • Demonstrated leadership, education, and mentoring skills which enable improved capability in best practice project and change management at all levels across the District.
  • Manage Resource/Capacity for the team and stakeholders Business case Management including Value / Benefits Measurement & Realisation Good with Financial and strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence
  • Ability to drive changes Result oriented and committed individual
