To further strengthen our Platform model, a multi-year Genesis Program is underway, to ensure that the right supporting policies / processes, culture and systems are built to enable the Platforms and to reduce employee pain points. The selected candidate is required to take on the role of Senior Business Analyst (BA)/Workstream Product Owner, who is responsible for defining system capabilities, "to be" processes and driving implementation of the same in partnership with the Technology Delivery Team .

Responsibilities

  • Understand root cause of pain points impact to budgeting, work accounting, project portfolio management, capacity management etc.
  • Work with the Chief Product Owner and Program stakeholders including Business, Technology, Platform Transformation Team, Finance and HR, to:
  • Define, design and implement new system features and co-create future state processes.
  • Assess the impact of the change, define the design principles, obtain the necessary support and consensus from the stakeholders, Design Authority and/or Council.
    • Manage a small team of 1-2 Business Analysts and drive the implementation in Agile sprints (definition& refinement of user stories, screen design with the UX team, definition of user acceptance criteria, in-sprint testing etc.)in partnership with the Technology delivery team.
    • Guide users and provide inputs to Technology delivery team for system (user interface, data logic processing and presentation) development.
    • Engage stakeholders and manage expectations; Provide regular updates to the Program Council; Escalate impediments on a timely basis to the appropriate stakeholders.
    • Work with development team to design data model according to requirements; coordinate data clean-up/migration activities as needed.
    • Coordinate and manage end-user involvement for in-sprint testing and/or User Acceptance Testing.
    • Work with the Change Management team to plan for user rollout, adoption and change communication.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor Degree in Finance or Banking with at least 6 - 7 years relevant experience in business analysis within the financial services industry, with experience of working in an agile set-up.
    • Know-how of Agile Way of Working is a must.
    • Domain knowledge of Project Portfolio Management related processes (budgeting, project financials management and re-charge, capacity management) is a distinct advantage.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather, organize, analyze information with attention to details and accuracy.
    • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written); understand business requirements and translate for system implementation.
    • Meticulous, highly organize and able to work under pressure in a time-critical environment.
    • Purpose driven with strong drive to deliver real outcomes and impact.
    • Innovative and think out of the box in co-creation of solutions to overcome challenges.
    • Good knowledge of the technology, business & finance processes.
