You are adept at using data, research and analytical insights to help businesses and organisations make data interpretation easy and reporting accurate and efficient. You're particularly invested in utilising data and insights reporting to drive decisions that have a direct impact on the lives of individuals. In addition, you excel at knowing what is all the information that is accessible in our dashboards, and enjoy guiding other through getting acclimated in the use of the dashboards. As an individual expert in reporting, you have the necessary hard and soft skills to succeed. These include being comfortable with interacting with senior leaders, external bodies, and colleagues from across various job functions and levels (whether or not they 'speak your language'), and leveraging best practices from the industry.
Your role involves:
Reporting to the Group HR Human Decision Science Head, you will be the subject matter expert and act as the single point of contact across all of Group HR internal and external, executive and regulatory level reporting deliverables that can be many and varied with competing schedules.
You will work with HR vertical areas to provide analytics support for the generation of reports that are required by senior level executives and regulators. You will use data to generate HR insights, develop efficient workflows, consolidate and organise reports and datasets across different functions across the business, work with stakeholders and technical teams to provide solutioning on QlikView issues, conduct User Acceptance Testing of newly ingested data from source systems, create new/key metrics for reporting and proactively engage with stakeholders to improve the data quality across the APAC region, and lead the e-communication efforts to communicate dashboarding enhancements for community awareness.
You will drive and facilitate HR initiatives and change management, and support in global and regional HR initiatives as assigned. Those initiatives may include conducting the annual training/refreshers to the broader HR community to continuously drive data awareness and utilisation of HR dashboards, be part of the driving forces behind the reporting journey towards automation, and promoting the importance of data quality regionally.
You may also be engaged in regional/group level special initiatives, as assigned.
Your background:

  • Experienced in gathering executive and/or regulatory reporting requirements, analysing, interpreting and summarizing data quickly, and managing the review and signoff process from stakeholders including the leadership team
  • Relevant skills and experience in data analyses and manipulating large datasets
  • Extensive working knowledge of Business Intelligence visualisation and automation tools, such as QlikView, QlikSense, Tableau, Power BI preferred
  • Excellent ability to multi-task on competing deliverables at any point in time and deliver reporting product with finesse
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Meticulous, analytical, proactive to tasks and responsibilities, and consultative
  • Demonstrated ability and experience working with C-suite level executives and regulators
  • Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with executive presence
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PPT)
